Where to even start!!!!!! This book is by far my favorite out of the series!! They just keep getting better and better. If you haven't been introduce to the Eagle Elite, then I suggest stopping right now or else it will be completely ruined for you!!!
I felt so bad for Chase at the end of Elect. He had just had his heart ripped out and then said yes to Mil's proposal. CRAZY, RIGHT?!
The book started with a bang, pun intended! It's a start to a book that only the mind of Rachel Van Dyken could come up with!
Throughout the book we learn secrets about Mil's past, but it wasn't just her past, it was also the mafia's past, and it isn't so pretty. It will make you cringe and want to get the revenge and justice that is due.
Drama isn't all that we witness. No, we witness Chase growing into the man that he is suppose to be, and it made me SWOON so bad, and I have ALWAYS been Team Nixon! Chase has turned into an AMAZING guy, who now puts someone else above all else and does everything in his power to protect what is his! I know what you're thinking, "But he was that way with Trace!" He loved Trace, yes, but with Mil..... it's SO MUCH MORE! HONESTLY, you will understand when you read the book!
I wasn't sure how I felt about Mil at the end of Elect, but now, she's part of the family.
Her past has me feeling bad for her and loving that she didn't let it weaken her. She is an AMAZING, STRONG, and BAD A** Mafia Boss, who is hopelessly in love with Chase.
Like I said before, we learn so much about all the Families, mainly the De Langes, but then a twist gets thrown in and we learn so much about everything!!
This book is action packed, swoon worthy, and at times, panty melting!!! This book is HOT and so much more that just 5 Stars!!!!! I definitely recommend everyone read this book, and series!!!!!
