After reading Emerge, I loved it so much, I immediately had to guy buy Embrace. This series is so addictive! Embrace is mostly Evan's story, but the other characters are featured as well.

At the end of Emerge, poor Evan gave up everything and transferred to Southern to be with his girl. When he got there he found out that Laney was with someone else. What is he going to do now? Well, the crew is going to let home sit and drown in his sorrows. Sawyer and Whitley step in and try to cheer him up. Even setting him up on some blind dates which are hilarious!! All the while, Evan and Whitley are fighting developing feelings for each other. Evan is also just not sure how he feels about Laney anymore or if and how, his former best friend, will remain in his life. He has a really hard time being around her and seeing her with Dane. Since is still pretty hurt by the situation, he's not speaking to her much. Of course, that hurts Laney.

So how does everything turn out? Does Laney stay with Dane or does she go back to Evan? Does Evan move on or does he fight for Laney? This book is so worth reading that I will not spoil it for you by answering.

I love that SE wrote this one from the POV's of multiple characters. I am a HUGE Dane and Laney fan so I also glad we got to hear from them in this book. I also love the strong connection and bond between the characters. The Crew. Reading this is almost literally like sitting back and hanging out with my friends. It feels that real. Let's not forget about the bits of humor she sneaks in throughout the book. I love everything about this book. SE is one of my top 2 favorite writers. If you have not started this series yet, you are really missing out. I am 100% recommending this!!
