Synopsis.

When single mother, Annie Malone, purchases a quirky Main Street café on

Heron Island, she thinks she’s finally turned her dream of opening her own

restaurant into a reality. Hearing rumors that a developer is about to build a

five-star resort on the sleepy Chesapeake Bay island, she plans to transform

the café into a premier upscale bistro. But Navy SEAL, Will Dozier, has no

intention of selling his grandparents’ property to a developer. Back on Heron

Island for the first time in ten years and secretly struggling with PTSD,

Will decides that a fling with the new girl is the perfect way to help him

“get his head straight.” The last thing Will expects is to fall in love…with his

hometown and with Annie. But Will’s life and career are in San Diego with

the SEALs. Can Annie’s love and the healing magic of the island be enough

to convince him to stay?

SJ's Review.

deserves?
Will doesn't want his childhood home destroyed but he does have a soft spot for the red head in town.
When these two bump heads sparks will fly but really could Will be good for Annie... Not just have but Taylor too. When a blast from Annie past comes and knocks her on her arse and tips her life up side down, will Will be there for her at the end of it all?

Will & Annie had a sizzling relationship, it was just a relationship that clicked from the off. From the moment Will stepped into Annie's you can tell there was going to be a spark that lit up the night with these two.

Will has a big decision too make concerning his future in the Navy, his granparents inn and Annie. Which will he choose? Will has a connection with Taylor too, they suffer from PTSD and Will wants to hekp Taylor, but is Taylor also helping him without him realising?
I really enjoyed this story, none of the fake love rubbish it was worked for, it was beautiful to say the least. This book made me smile and made you realise not all decisions are easy to make. As I said this book was a breath of fresh air and made my afternoon of light reading breezy ;) a definite 5 star from me!!
If you looking for a quick light read then grab yourself a copy of Wind Chime Cafe. The name was also unique and significant. If you don't fall in love with Will, Annie, Taylor & Riley then you generally have a hard heart!!
