HOLY CRAP!!! I mean like SERIOUSLY, HOLY CRAP!!!! I didn't think that I could love the second book as much as I loved the first, but I DO!!! And actually, I think I LOVE it MORE than the FIRST BOOK!!!

 

 

So with that being said, If you HAVEN'T read The Light of the World, which is the first book in the series, then STOP READING!!! Don't read anymore!!! It will completely RUIN things for you!!!!!

 

 

In the last book, we meet the amazing Rayne,  the completely SWOON WORTHY Wyatt, Michelle, the SEXY Constantine, and the lovely Mona.

 

 

The book picks up where the first one left off. They are still busy tracking down and killing the five devils and going after her parents.  As expected, Rayne has become really good at killing the devils. In fact, it causes the rise of the four horsemen, hence the title.

 

 

So not only do they have the devils, her parents, and her love life to contend with, but now they have the four horsemen!!!

 

 

The problems the four horsemen create are terrifying, saddening, and tragic. They now have to figure out how to stop them.

 

 

In the midst of all of the problems going on, we still have the hot love triangle going on and man do I LOVE a GOOD love TRIANGLE!!!

 

When the first book ended, you could see how much love Wyatt and Constantine have for Rayne and you just don't know WHO you think would be better for her.

 

Constantine is just down right HOT!!! I didn't write about him in my review of fist book in the series, because I didn't want to give that little surprise away.

 

Constantine is seriously down right SINFULLY SEXY!!! You can't help but WANT him! But there will be times when you're like "WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!" OR you will want to shove your foot so far up his ASS, that he coughs it out!!!  But even through all that, I still LOVE Constantine!!! There is just something about him!!!

 

Then we have Wyatt!! OH how I LOVE to HATE him and he just becomes even SEXIER in the is book!! There is NO DOUBT how much he LOVES Rayne! I SWOONED hard core throughout this book over Wyatt. I mean how can you NOT SWOON over that man!!!

 

"She can't fight the attractions to him. None of them can. I can't either. It's one thing that he's stop-traffic hot- it's completely another that he's a Van Helsing, and all things like us are attracted to him."

 

 

Just like the last book Rayne can't choose WHO she loves more and WANTS to give her HEART to! But also like the last book, it all gets put on the back burner as they head out to fight to save mankind.

 

There is so much that goes on in the book. One minute you think you have EVERYONE and EVERYTHING figured out, then BAM!!!! Everything CHANGES again!!! There are so many new developments in this book and new characters, that you're constantly kept on your toes!

 

This book was so much more than the first book and I COULD NOT put it down! I honestly read this book in a matter of a HALF  OF A DAY!!

 

The ACTION is AMAZING and the LOVE TRIANGLE is HOT and STEAMY! I personally fell in LOVE with Wyatt. I will admit that I'm now 100% Team Wyatt all the way!

 

This book was just AMAZING!!! I know I say that A LOT, but it just describes it perfectly!!!!  Tara ONCE AGAIN, out did herself with this book!!! Every book by her is better than the last!!

 

I give this book 5 STARS and I can't wait for the NEXT BOOK!!!
