Katie Logan has had a secret crush on her best friend Johnny Church since high school, but he’s never looked at her the same way. So when Johnny—now a famous rock-and-roll guitarist—comes home to visit, Katie can’t bring herself to tell him she’s engaged to be married. She should have, though, because she soon discovers that maybe the attraction is mutual…Warning: Not for the faint of heart! This book contains explicit sex, drugs, and rock and roll, not to mention a few eff bombs here and there. Proceed with caution.

My review:

Katie Logan has secretly been in love with Johnny Church (aka J.C. Gibson) since high school. She has sat back through the years and loved him from afar, to scared to be rejected and loose him for good. She settles on having him in her life as her best friend then not at all.

Through the years they remain friends but only see each other once in a while. After a night of hanging out and catching up for ole time sake Katie makes a decision that could change there friendship forever.

I have to say I loved this story. I love how Jamison wrote the past and present into the book. The flow was easy and I couldn't wait to see what would happen with Katie and Johnny next.

Will they become a couple? Will they stay friends? Will they move on without each other? Boy I just had to keep page turning to find out!

There where times when both Katie & Johnny made me mad or I felt bad for them or just totally fell in love with them. God sometimes i just wanted to Yell at Katie and give her a good shake or slap the crap out of Johnny!!!

Overall I loved this book. I ate it up in one sitting! The only thing i would complain about is I WANT MORE KATIE AND JOHNNY!!!! I NEED more of them!!! Boy do I need Johnny! ;)

I would recommend this book and give it a 4.5 star rate!  Loved it!!

Jade C. Jamison was born and raised in Colorado and has decided she likes it enough to stay forever. Jade's day job is teaching Creative Writing, but teaching doesn't stop her from doing a little writing herself.Unfortunately, there's no one genre that quite fits her writing. Her work has been labeled romance, erotica, suspense, and women's fiction, and the latter is probably the safest and closest description. But you'll see that her writing doesn't quite fit any of those genres. You'll have to discover Jade's writing for yourself to decide if you like it.
