I LOVED this book! I couldn't put it down and fell in love with Caleb and Jena!!!! They are just so amazing together. They bring out the best in each other and the friends that surround them.

 

 

Caleb and Jena meet when his best friend Mark gets in a horrific accident. Jena just happens to be the DOCTOR to save Mark's life. Yep! You heard that correctly! Jena is a sexy Neurosurgeon that Caleb can't get out of his head!

 

 

Dr. Jena Turner becomes part of the group after helping Mark recover from the accident; she is always there when the group gets together to hang out. This just causes their attraction to each other to grow.

 

 

One night at his birthday party, he runs into her; not expecting her to be there. The fact that she tells him that she wouldn't miss it, causes him (and her) to finally lose themselves for a moment in time, before his friend ruins the moment.

 

 

They both tried to fight their attraction to each other for so long that they finally give up the fight and try to work at being in a relationship.

 

 

Caleb is fricken HOT and Jena completely took the words out of my mouth when she describes him!

 

"He was sex, wrapped in lust with a side of guaranteed pleasure."

 

 

Caleb is what I would call "Sex on a stick" he is that hot! But there is more to him than that; he is caring, loving, honest and loyal to a fault!

 

 

Things are going great for them. They have an amazing time being together and their friends couldn't be happier for them. Their chemistry is off the charts and they are happiest together, rather than apart.

 

 

But Jena has a tragic past and one night the memories that she has tried so hard to forget, surface and send her running, literally.

Caleb is heart broken and doesn't know how to cope with the distance. He would do ANYTHING to protect her and make her feel loved!

 

Will Jena be able to get over what is plaguing her thoughts and actions?

 

Will Caleb be able to break through her memories and show her how much he cares about her?

 

I recommend reading and finding out if they get the HEA they both so desperately deserve!

 

This book was definitely a 5 Star read and can't wait to read more from MJ Carnal!!!!
