Besieged. Book 1 in the 'She Who Dares Series' I think this is my favourite book of the three.
Theodore Ellis is a hot shot business man, he's the alpha male any women would drop their panties for. Not Lily. Lily sees through Theo's charm & wit. She sees his player ways.
Theo has never had someone turn him down before, he has never been told no. Usually women would spread their legs faster than he can think of a pick up line!
Lily is a sassy, feisty, hot as sin red head. She's the girl Theo can't stop thinking about. She is the one women who told him no. When she walks away from him that first time he thought he would never see her again, but fate has his ways.. And throws them back in each others path.
Lily won't give in to Theo's advances, she's having fun playing the player at his own game. It isn't that she isn't attracted to Theo, who wouldn't be? It more the fact she has been hurt, she had demons & she swears not to let anyone break down her walls all over again.
Luckily for me I had all three books, otherwise that cliff hanger would've killed me. I am a huge cliff haters and that was a cliff hanger of all hangers. I don't know why it shocked me because I saw it coming, I knew it was a HUGE possibility but neither Theo or Lily saw it coming. Why would they?
Will Lily finally let Theo in and let him see who she really is?
Will Theo break down the walls Lily has firmly set in place?
Will both pasts come back to creep up on them?
Besieged made me FEEL, like really feel? I cried! I hurt, I laughed so hard with Lily's wittiness & Theo consistence. These two are a pair that are like fire & ice and I like that! I like these two.

Love. It’s such an understated word. It has the ability to grip you so hard you become completely consumed by it, and when it releases you, you find yourself on your knees. Lilly Parker has me on my knees and I cannot muster the will to stand.
Betrayal. It’s all the worse when it comes from those we love. The pain, that much more intense. The loss, that much more heart breaking. I took a chance on Theodore Ellis and I lost.
How hard is Theo willing to fight for the woman he loves? Can Lilly fight her demons, or will she push away the only man capable of facing them with her?

Conquered. Lily & Theo are back. If you hadn't read Book 1 please do not read the following review because it contains huge spoilers.
So with Theo expecting a baby with a drinker mistake that he doesn't remember. Lily is broken, she has lost herself and is lost in a world of self pity, far from the witty, funny, strong women we have come to love.
Theo can't come to terms with the fact that Lily has left & certainly won't be coming back anytime soon. He promised never to hurt her and he started to fall for her. He certainly wasn't aware of the girl from the club, personally I think he was tricked and the kid isn't actually his but this doesn't matter to Theo, he doesn't care about her or the baby all he cares for is Lily. He wants Lily & will stop at nothing to get her back.
Is Theo willing to fight for the women who owns his heart? Will he fight for her in a way she has never been fought for?
Is Lily willing to share her demons & let Theo help her with them?
Or has it all gotten a little to much for Lily and Theo, and it's time they call it a day.
What I like about this book is the fact that no matter how much you want or need someone you shouldn't just give it without fighting for what you think is right. What you think is best for you.
When one of Lily's ghosts come back to haunt her, it's Theo who comes to her rescue.
I loved the way LP Lovell didn't make Lily a weak female that runs back into the arms of the man who hurt her when she feels a little weakened by him. Meaningless sex & a posh car is not going to fix this girls broken heart.

Surrendered. Lily & Theo. The end.
This is the last in the story of Lily & Theo. And for me this book was great, beautiful, romantic. Full of hurt, heartbreak but also the best heart shimmering happiness you could imagine!!
Lily has forgiven Theo & Surrendered to his love for her. She has finally admitted how he makes her feel safe & loved & she can't deny how he makes her heart race with just one look.
Theo not only saves Lily from her past but when the biggest secret of all is revealed he is willing to save Lily's brother if that is what keeps her safe & makes her happy.
Will Lily & Theo get the happily ever after they finally deserve?
Will Theo accept the child in which is claimed to be his?
Will Theo rid Lily is her demons once & for all?
Will Lily finally completely open up again what happened to her?
I loved this series & I love these characters, one little thing I do have about Surrendered is the fact that the last 30% of the story was extremely rushed. Everything seemed to happen within the last 30% and it left me feeling exhausted. It was like a totally whirlwind but still that aside. A beautiful well written story.
LP's writing style you could see this improving throughout each book. The style, the airy telling. From book 1 to book 3 the writing improved greatly!
