I'm not your typical girl. I've been running away from the memories that haunt me for so long that depression has become my only comfort. I was content in the darkness...until Wes Michals offered to be my light.

I didn't know that time wasn't my ally -- that every second that ticked past was one step closer to the end of something that was beginning to mean the end of myself. He tried to warn me. He promised me all he was able to offer--each moment as it came--but it would never be enough.

Sometimes when you think it's the end, it's only the beginning. Wes thought he could save me, but in giving me everything, he ruined me. Because after one kiss, one touch, I couldn't--I wouldn't ever be the same.

And from that moment on, his heartbeat became my own

Oh were to start on how much I loved this book! I started laughing from the very beginning! I literally had tears in my eyes from laughing so hard! I loved Kiersten from the first page in the first chapter. She had something tragic happen to her and she is taking everything day by day, just to survive.Even though she is trying to move past everything and just survive, she still has night terrors of her tragic past and that is when we meet her hilarious roommate Lisa.

"Nah it's fine, I'm a walking accident." She laughed." But if you plan on screaming all night, I'm taking the floor. My lamp killing days are behind me."

Kiersten and Lisa form a bond from the beginning and they are hilarious together. Then add in Lisa's cousin Gabe who is a hot, tattooed bad boy and it just gets better from there.

On her first day at college, she meets the wonderfully, amazing hottie, Weston. Their first meeting is hilarious!

"Were you just counting my abs?" -Weston

Kiersten and Wes had great chemistry from the start. I absolutely loved them together! They tried to deny a relationship for a while, but you can only deny a good thing for so long. The two of them complimented each other really well and I can't ever imagine them with anyone else.

This book not only made me laugh, but made me cry. It was very heartfelt and you knew exactly how they felt with every situation that they went through. I would highly recommend this book!!! This book just goes to show why everyone loves the amazing Rachel Van Dyken and how she got her amazingness title!!!

I give this book 5 stars!
