Review by Brittany

I honestly don’t know where to start with this book. I am kind of fumbling for words for this review. This book was so amazing, my only problem with it was the ending. It leaves you with a huge cliffhanger and it’s so open ended. There are so many possibilities of what could and did happen.
Matthew Robert Sky Jr. is an author that has successfully published a few best selling novels. He writes under the name M. Pierce, but not many people know that. To the world, M. Pierce could be anybody. A man or a woman that requires their privacy, but the world is fixated on finding out who he or she is.
Looking for a writing partner, Matt meets LittleBird. Through Skype and email, they often chat about little things and religiously send installments of their collaborative story to each other. Matt has specific rules though: no full names, no pictures, nothing that will ruin his privacy. This all changes though, for Matt at least, when LittleBird accidentally sends him an email from her personal email account, which includes her full name and a picture of her.
Hannah Catalano lives in Seattle, Washington with her boyfriend of three years. She sneaks off to the basement at night to chat with a stranger, NightOwl. One night, things shift between them and nothing is the same, for either of them. Hannah decides to break up with her boyfriend and move back home with her parents, who live in Denver, Colorado, the same city where NightOwl lives.
Things have been heating up between these two. Steamy phone calls, kinky video chats. Hannah is desperate to meet Matt, the man she believes she is falling for.
Matt waits for Hannah one night outside her house. Things between them are hot, steamy, sexy. Matt is determined to take care of Hannah, even going so far as to get her a job as his publisher’s secretary. Hannah doesn’t know the real Matt, though. She doesn’t know that he’s M. Pierce, and when she does find out, things change drastically.
After the world finds out who M. Pierce really is, things between Hannah and Matt become broken. Nothing is the same, both of them are shells of themselves. Matt spirals into a drinking binge and Hannah tries desperately to forget about him. When Hannah is confronted by Matt’s brother Nate, she realizes that Matt is too far under to help himself. She rushes to his side, but it might just be too late.
I just can’t begin to describe this book. Let me start off by saying this book is 100% total erotica. There are many, many mature scenes intended for readers 18+. These scenes are hot, though. I can’t tell you how many times I got so wound up but couldn’t help myself. Ugh! M. Pierce knows how to write! The chapters alternate points of view, starting with Matt’s, then Hannah’s. The epilogue, like I said earlier, was a total cliffhanger. It’s so open ended that you are left with thousands of questions and theories. The second book in this trilogy isn’t set to come out until summer of next year, so if you can’t stand waiting, wait to read this. Otherwise, go click this bad boy right now! NOW!!!!
