Synopsis.

I was a thief of men...a whore.

Not the conventional type that got paid for sex. I was the girl you talked about in your

sad inner circle. The girl you shielded your boyfriend from as you cleverly covered him

with your body when I came near.

I was a threat to you.

Keeping him safe in your grasp was smart.

One week...one incredible week was all it took to forever change me.

I was NEVER going to be you ... until I met HIM!

SJ's Review.

Kate had bloody done it again!! Blood Whore!

This book pulled me in, grabbed me by the throat and restricted my airways for the whole book. I bloody LOVED it!!!

It had me crying with laughter at points. The chemistry these guys have is so unbelievable... but it works, a group of 6 lost souls out for a good time and to get away from the hardships life is throwing their way! They all just click....

When I first read this book, it was an unfinished, unedited book and from then I could see that it was a 5 star in progress and boy I wasn't wrong. When I finally finished the entire book I had to take a week to reflect before reading anything else or writing my review. Here we are 2 weeks down the line and I'm finally writing a

full review. Never Me leaves you in such a character daze that you don't want these characters to leave, you just want the book to keep going on so you can just keep reading about them.

Nadine. Nadine is a whore. Quite simply a whore, nothing more nothing less. She will see a couple and she will set her sights on the guy and she WILL reel him in, have her fun then return him to his girlfriend a changed man. Jace is her victim at the beginning of the book and this shows who Nadine is from the get go. After releasing Jace back to his girlfriend, Nadine loses her job, she has no choice but to ask Daddy for a loan. Having got a loan from her dad for more than she expected Nadine and her Stripper best friend Rory.

Rory & Nadine decide on a roadtrip to the beach, infact they head to Florida! Okay so they are florida bound and Nadine makes herself a promise. 'Not on this trip' what she means is there will be no fucking on this trip. Nadine fucks for sport. Its as simple as that to her, its just something to pass the time. She is basically a bloke. Sex means nothing to her. Nadine doesn't expect to meet someone on this trip that will change her view on how she see's men and sex.

Enter Spencer. Since Spencer saw that care free girl running into the ocean fully clothed he hasn't been able to stop thinking about her he would like to have her beneath him. Luckily for him when in the bar that night the same care free girl sits in the booth right behind him. Without an invite he joins there conversations, their table and their girls evening. Eventually inviting the rest of his group to join. The two groups get on like a house on fire and vitually spend the upcoming days together.

As the days go on you can see the spark igniting between Nadine & Spencer. Spencer is as feisty and stubborn as Nadine and these two together gets sparks flying. No matter how many times Nadine denies being attracted to Spencer you can tell she is lying. Spencer is sexy there is not disputing that and no women could say no to him, unless maybe you were a nun?

Spencer and Nadine are like fighting fire with fire. When these two are around sparks fly. The sexual tension is visible to everyone within the same state. They can't seem to admit how they feel about eachother but they can't keep their hands of eachother either. With a little bet going on as too who will crack first.

As the book goes on the sexual chemisty becomes more and more obvious, the teasings becomes more and more blatant and the elephant in the room when these guys are around is getting bigger. As the holiday goes on they seem to make a connection not only sexually but emotionally and physically also. I loved these guys as a couple and as the holiday draws to a close I feel my heart breaking along with theirs knowing this will be goodbye :( they both have lives in different states.

When goodbye finally comes, Nadine doesn't only say goodbye to Spencer but also to the whore within. Meeting eachother has changed them but it a change for the better. Leaving with the promise not to contact eachother via email, text or call. Well I guess what's the point they both knew it was just going to be a summer fling. That doesn't make it any easier thought.

I cried big ugly sloppy tears when goodbye came. I was a blubbering mess. Kate strikes again with her above and beyond writing and characters! These stuck with me but in a different way than what Room 212 did. Kate is a fantastic writer and this book just shows her talents. I'm glad I found Kate as an author because she writes fantastically.

Never Me left me stumped, lost for words! This is one hell of  book for yur emotions.

The journey in which this book is about is one you wish you lived. The wild week away! Fun, Laughter and Friends...More than Friends! Family isn't always about blood ties and that is shown in Never Me! I even know I'm struggling to do this book justice all I can say is this is 10/5 star book and should added to your TBR lists on goodreads!
