Synopsis:

This book had me cracking up!!

 

Isis just moved with her mom to Ohio, so she has no friends and is known as the new girl.

 

At a party she starts talking to Kayla, who is amazing and sweet, and she tells Isis not to drink the punch. That starts a budding friendship.

 

Then enter the hot, dreamy blue eyed and swoon worthy, Jack. He's known as the Ice Prince because he never looks twice at a girl and keeps to himself.

 

When Kayla goes to talk him, he becomes an a**! This pisses Isis off. She's dealt with a**holes and isn't letting him get away with being one to Kayla. So what does she do? She punches him in the face; completely shocking him. Then she proceeds to put him in his place and telling him to apologize. When he doesn't, that's when she declares war!

 

Watching the war between them is hilarious!! I couldn't stop laughing. It was awesome!

 

During the war they get to know each other.

 

Isis is a smarta**, who is quick witted, and has this shield up. She's vowed never to love again after something awful happens to her with the guy she was seeing.

 

Jack has secrets. Secrets he doesn't want to surface, but Isis won't back down. He tries to convince himself there is nothing there; that he has no feelings for her, despite being stuck in the past, but it doesn't happen.

 

Just as things start going in a different direction for the two, tragedy strikes, and what happens leaves you screaming "NOOOOO!!! That can't happen! The author better fix this right now!"
