Synopsis.

Greylan Pace has been a fighter his entire life. He’s worked hard to get to the top as a mixed martial arts fighter but just when his time in the spotlight has finally come, events out of his control unfold, putting him in a very dark place.

After doing his time paying for his crimes he finds himself back on top. Going to battle in the biggest fight of his life.

But he soon learns that what he’s strived for means nothing in comparison to Mollie Andrews, the green eyed red head on the arm of his old friend. She takes his breath away at first sight. He fights with everything he’s got to keep his focus on his goal, but he knows for the first time ever that he’s going to lose, and it might not be the worst thing.

He’s in for the fight of his life but it’s not in the ring. Mollie Andrews could be the best win he’s ever had, if he can let go of his dream.

SJ's Review.

Greylan pace is an all round good guy, above all else he is a fighter. Greylan fights with everything he has got, he loves with all he is, especially when it comes to his sister Trinity.

Its one fateful night when Greylan loses everything he has ever fought for. Five years... five long years later Greyland is thrown back into the real world. Straight out of lock up Greylan gets a shock from his sister in the shape of a ring and a fighter.

Trinity. When Greyson Pace got put in prison for the murder of the guy in the alleyway, Trinity had to learn to stand on her own two feet. She has no parents & the one person she had left has been taken from benethe her. Was Parker's arrival fate? When Grey is released, the first person to greet him outside the gates is Trin.. obviously. Lets just say he has a few things he has to learn to get control of... and his sister is not one of them. Trinity has learnt to stand on her own two feet and is alot stronger than she was when Grey left... she had to be.

Anyway Greylan returns to the mat BUT he has a big decision to make. Does he fight or does he not? Fighting is his life after all. As much as he dislikes his soon to be Brother-in law, he could porteniously have to fight against him if he gets to the pro's. Greylan had his chance once, is he now to old to make it to the top? He's lost five years of training, or will he get his second chance.

'There are two kinds of people, fighters and observers.'

Greyson's life is drifting along at a steady pace until his past comes back to haunt him in the colour of RED! What are these two up to? They just happen to arrive on the night of Grey's fight... coinsidence? Grey hasn't heard a thing for over five years and now all of a sudden they come back? Something smells fishy to me...

I liked this book because there were lots of characters but only one main character. Each side character played a part in the outcome of Greylan but he was the mai focus points. None of this Main Male & Main Female. It was different... I like different.

On the outside Greylan Pace is an unapproachable bad boy, but really Greylan is a big softy who loves his sister to death and would do anything to protect her and his carreer. Guilt will be one thing Greylan seems he cant get rid of, as much as everyone tells him it was not his fault. The guilt festers. The guilt for leaving his sister alone. The guilt for losing his manager all the money he had invested and just guilt for the lads family.

Greylan is faced by another big decions, but what he is being asked is more than a tough decision it is a matter of keeping his dignitity, or save his sister and mollie? He's a protector but he is also a fighter? Decision time... Greylan makes his decision and cant take his choice back. Could it possibily have been the wrong choice?

'No Regrets'

Right at the end there is a twist that had my jaw dropping...literally, I did not see that coming and let me say i knew a few of these characters were hiding something BUT i was not expecting this! Be ready to have your mind blown!!

All in all, this is the first book i have read by Heather but i will definately now be looking out for more of her & most definately more of Greylan. July can not come quick enough!
