Humph! I was so gutted this book ended so soon. I loves Jackson & Vanessa story and just wanted to book to keep going and going. Gaurded was a light hearted, happy story with a few twists and turns but all in all a happy story.
Vanessa is guarding her heart with everything thing she has. That is until she is literally run down by Jackson and from then on she can't forget the sexy guy who run her down.
Jackson is new in town and after running into Vanessa he knows this is where he is meant to be. Fate brought him here to save her and help her restore her faith in man-kind.
Vanessa is awaiting divorce from her asshole soon to be ex-husband. Her best friend Amanda is her rock and her safe place, she is where she runs when she is hurting!
Jackson is the new lead played for the local team but he isn't just here for work he finally wants to find his 'one'. When he is pulled in by Vanessa's beauty, humour and personality he can't keep away, he can't stop thinking about her!!
Vanessa isn't quick to trust and when Jackson gives her no other choice she jumps in feet first! Will she regret letting this guy in? Or will he prove to be one of the good guys?
I'm itching to review the next book in this series and can't wait to get my hands on it! 5 gaurded stars for this romantic, sappy read!!!
