Firstly let me say for a debut book this was pretty damn good! The structure and plot was awesome and faiths writing style was spot on! Anyone would think she had been writing years.... Nope this is her first!!

Anyway Kat has moved away from home & cut all contact. Having had the childhood she has had to endure you can't blame her for running away from her family. Kat has never known what it's like to have real friends? Friends that stand by her, care a about and love her!! That he until she finds Skeigh & Lexi. Well I say finds... They kind of find each other and have been inseparable since.. But not even her two best friends know what it is she is running from.. Does Kat really think her friends will judge her for a past she couldn't prevent?!

Enter Ryder. Ryder makes Kat feel things she has never felt before. Safe, loved, cared for. Straight from the get go these two hit it off. Ryder won't take no for an answer but Kat will only say no... She's broken. Can Ryder be the guy that can fix her?

"Is that a promise?"

When a journalist comes knocking Kat panics, she has changed her surname so she couldn't be traced, so when the journalist says she will post the story with or without kat's side of things will it make Kat change her mind and tell her story or bravery? Kat many not feel brave but what she was put through takes a strong person to just get up and walk away and still continue your life and normally as possible.

Kat is a strong willed, if not a little broken but maybe Ryder is her missing piece, the piece she needs to get her head back into a place that it should be. Not having an family Kat only has Ryder, Lexi, Skeigh & TJ .. All of which are strong allies to have on side.

When these four guys finally find out what really happened to an infant Kat and why she feels everyone she knows betrayed her, what will they do? Will they have the same opinion as everyone else? Or will they have their girls back? How will Ryder react?

It's a pretty known fact nobody has a happily ever after without a few bumps in the road and Kat & Ryder are no exception to that fact, they have a pretty tough time getting to where the deserve to be. Past & present will clash but will it affect the future?

I'm giving this book 5 golden stars. I liked the book? Iv reading books of this genre before but none have had me gripped quite like this. A beautiful love story that isn't just a straight for HEA!

My only constructive criticism would be that I would like to hear about more of what was in the reports & more details about a younger Kat. Sadistic I know but it would give you a better feel for the character. It would give you a stronger connection. Overall though a massive well done to Faith S Lynn on her debut in the tough world of writing. Long may it continue for you, your a fabulous lady!!
