Synopsis.

At fifteen, I took on the role of Popper out of necessity, forgetting the person I was. That's when I became the lead singer of a grunge metal band.

Now at twenty-two I'm cocky, a pessimist, and violent. My shrink is even fed up with me, suggesting I try something radical to appreciate the value of life.

She gives me a card that leads me to him, and ultimately I find . . . me.

SJ's Review.

Sadie & Batty.

One thing that intrigued me all the way through this book was Batty. I want to know this hot piece of arse's

name!! Anyway let's talk.... I have my thoughts on where this book is going and I damn well hope I am so far off the mark that it punches me in the face...

Sadie AKA Popper is the front girl in a Rock Band, she has a bad arse attitude & the looks to match. Popper is not in a good place in her life right now, she has a don't give a shit attitude & that is exactly what she does... doesn't give a shit! That is until her therapist hands her a business card with an address & a name on.

What would Popper need with a hospital? Who is this chick anyway?

Popper knows she needs help so she eventually heads to the address to meet this women and is surprised what she stumbles upon. A children's cancer ward. *insert eyes welling up here* On entering the ward Popper is greeted by a women who shows her to a window. Inside this window she see's the most breathtaking man... dressed as Batman. She knows what she has to do.

Sadie first meets a little girl called Rachel, Rachel is poorly & can't get out of bed, but even worse. She is alone. Her parents are not by her side, Sadie doesn't have a clue where to start with these children so when Rachel states that Sadie has nice nails she knows how to bound with this little girl. Never treat them any different to what you are because lets face they are no different to you or I.

Sadie day pretty much progresses like this, that is until she meets Batman AKA Batty. Sadie is Robin to Battys Batman. Sadie has an idea. She wants to make a little boys dreams come true. He loves Batman & Robin so they take him on a mission to catch the bad guy! If this kid isn't going to see Christmas they may aswel give him a last hoorah to remember. Right?

Sadie returns each week and carries on making little girls & boys dreams come true. One in particular stuck with me and broke my heart but it is was that little girl that made me realise you should always smile even when you don't feel like it!

Sadie is broken when she witnesses this poor act of fate and swears she will never return to the ward, only to put Batty in his place, but in her time on the ward she has grown close to not only the children but to Batty also. Is she starting to fall in love with Batty or is it just a little bit of fun?

Brandace Morrow always writes beautifully but this book touched on such a subject that normally I find quite hard to read but this lady, she did it right, she did it beautifully. Never did I think I could enjoy a book about such sorrow but she touched on it so well that it hit right at the heart & left you wanting to read more even after all the heart break. 5 stars go to Finding Sadie but my question is can Sadie forget Popper and become a women she was born to be?

Synopsis - Forgetting Popper.

Being a celebrity makes people think they know who I am. Just because I can't leave my house without a camera in my face, doesn't mean you know me.

The sad part is that for so long, I thought of myself the same way everyone else does. Screaming to mosh pits, I personify Popper, lead singer of the band Chimera.

But I have a secret life. A life where I'm a hero, where people look up to me. When my fake celebrity world comes crashing down, and I'm left with not only my secret, but others as well, there is one man standing behind me.

The only thing is, he has the biggest secrets of all.

SJ's Review.

Sadie & Batty are back. YAY.

I love these guys & this book did not disappoint. Sexier, steamier & even more shocks!! This book left me gob smacked... In my previous review of Finding Sadie I stated I had an idea where Forgetting Popper would be going but by hell was I wrong!

Batty & Robin still have their Sunday rendezvous & the

Sunday sessions are getting hotter by the page. Normally by the third sex act I am skim reading  but with this I wasn't. Each meeting was different and I found myself pulled into the world these two had wrapped themselves in & what a world it was.

I'm a little sad that I don't get Finally Finn right now. I HAVE got to know where this little beaut of a series ends.

Sadie opens herself a little more to Batty in this book & you see her becoming less Popper & more & more Sadie as you read! Sadie has shock upon shock where Batty in concerned & I'm not sure she takes any of them well but I wouldn't either! Does she really know Batty at all?

Will Batty be able to explain himself & why he kept such a HUGE part of his life hidden? Sadie & Batty were getting closer, were becoming more than just a Sunday session... Or so I thought. My heart broke for Sadie.

Sadie has embraced 'Sadie' & kicked 'Popper' to the curb, but could she have done any of it without Batty? Or is it him who brings out the good in her? These guys are good together & I think both are starting to feel that the connection they have its just sexual attraction but so much more.
But why does Sadie not take an interest, she doesn't know anything. Family, love, where he lives, his name or how old he is. Surely these are general questions you ask someone? Apparently not, but why is she holding back?

Brandace has done it again and gets 5 heart breaking stars for Forgetting Popper.

Finally Finn

Synopsis - Finally Finn.

Isn't it always when you think your life is looking up, that you inevitably get batted back down? You finally think you're climbing your way out of the hole, until someone steps on your hands.

I thought our relationship was evolving past benefits and into commitment, until I realized that everything I thought I knew about the man in my bed was a lie.

Call me a fool, but I help him anyway.

SJ's Review.

Batty. Sadie. Finally they are back.

I had mixed emotions upon receiving this book from Brandace Morrow. I was super excited because Batty & Sadie are my current book couple of 2015 & I couldn't wait to get my hands on more of their messed up story but I was also apprehensive about reading it because I knew it was the last, and I sure as hell didn't want these guys to leave! I was also pretty worried about what I would happen after the ending in the last book.... I'm sure I told Brandace at one point in time that I hated cliff hangers!!!

So Batty AKA Finnigan had kids... Plural? Yes my

my jaw dropped too... I was heartbroken, I was shocked but I was also strangely open to this idea. At first I was like 'oh hell no' and thought SADIE had better high tail it out of there and never look back, a man who keeps his kids a secret is hiding something ALOT bigger... Maybe a wife to go with them kids? Hell I was all over the place with why the hell he hadn't disclosed this information to Sadie. Ok I know what your thinking, it's also what I was thinking after I sat and thought it through... They were just fucking, they never put a label on what it was there were.. Or were not. He didn't have to tell her f all.

Could this be the eye opener Sadie needs for herself to finally say goodbye to Popper once & for all?

I think so. Well I like to think so. Underneath that hard exterior, Sadie has a heart of gold, that has shone brightly a number of times in the hospital with the children & this book you just get to see it a little bit more.

With Sadie looking after Finn's children she has no choice but communicate with him until he returns home to care for them himself, throughout the time in his space she finds herself accepting the idea or Finn & his children but also they grow closer as a couple, not only on a sexual scale but on an emotional scale also.

With truths revealed, secrets uncovered & hearts swelling will Sadie & Finn finally make a go of things as an open couple of will the relationship only ever go as far as the Sunday rendezvous they have come to depend on?

Will Sadie grow up & play mum?

Will Finn be able to talk his way out the fact that he failed to mention the children?

When truths are out who will be the one to turn & run and who will stand & fight?

There is no secret that I have loved this series from Brandace Morrow but Sadie, she is my all time favourite female lead. I get the fact that she is one of these characters that you either love or you hate but I couldn't help it, I just loved her. LOVED HER! She was a strong, feisty, sassy chick who had this I don't give a fuck attitude but it was all an act... Yes she was strong in her own way, yes she was definitely sassy & had a potty mouth but inside she was the same as everyone else. She has feelings, she liked going home kicking off her shoes & just sitting! She didn't have the all out Rock & Roll lifestyle that she led everyone to believe she was just... Normal.

One thing I was a little upset about was the fact that there wasn't very much from Finnigans POV in this book, that was a huge reason I loved this series because you got both points of view & I love a male prospective. But that will not ruin this book for me it's obviously getting 5 stars from me!!
