So I a week ago hadn't heard of this author or this series... Errr where the hell have I been hiding? What a FABULOUS set of books!!!

So I'm going to give you a run down from book 1. Simply because, I'm pretty damn excited that iv just read them all and I'm still reeling.. I will keep book 1 & 2 short & sweet because this review is meant to be for book 2.5

 

So pretty much if your a fan of Kellan Kyle & the thoughtless series I'm pretty positive you'll love this series. To me the characters portray a few characters in the D-Bags!

So book 1 is Laney, Evan & Dales story!! And this is my favourite book, it broke my heart it made me angry it made me laugh out loud but in all it gave me a real feel for the characters!! Shy little Laney has a choice to make, stay with what she knows or follow her hearts instinct..

For the bit that broke me in this book, probably the same as everyone else who read this book...

THIS completely and utterly ruined me I cried for a solid half an hour at least!!

Book 2 (EMBRACE) is Evan, Whitley & Laneys story. Evan has had his heart broken by his childhood sweetheart. His first love. The girl he gave up his dream for... Evan has to learn to heal & love again, but how easy is that when his love is in everywhere he looks? Poor Evan. I was rooting for Evan in Emerge but now I see that Evan heart is in the country on a farm & really Laney hasn't got that in her, she's a city girl!!
 

For me this book was summed up pretty easily with one simple yet deep conversation between Evan & Whitley

 

 

"Will it always be this good, Evan? I love you so much, everything feels perfect, surely it cant stay like this forever."

"Nope, it'll get better."

 

For me this just showed Evan was never IN love with Laney, but he will always love her.

So on to my intended review... Entangled is a novella, and finds us back with Dane & Laney.

The love these guys have for each other is electrifying, you can almost feel it as your reading. A love that would make any women jealous.

Dane is any women's dream. He's attentive, caring, protective, loving and lets not forget SEXY as hell!

Laney on the other hand has really come out of herself since Emerge. Where she was a shy, keep herself to herself kind of girl. Now she's a fiesty, sexy, grown up female not affraid to stand on her own two feet, and lets face it she doesnt have to. Not with the sexy Dane by herside.

The thing I love about this series is that the author is NOT affraid. She has turnt the tide. The tart we all hated in emerge became the 'friend' in embrace, and in entangle she wasn't only a friend but more of a 'bestie'.
 

 

For me this whloe series has had some great quotes, facts and tips but this one has stuck in my mind. It was brushed upon in book one and quoted in book two. I must say Laney's Dad is a smart man!!

 

'My dad had a golden rule of his own: "you best make sure they hit you first. Never start it, always finish it." So until someone hits me, that's all we'll ever do - talk.'

 

The tense atmosphere you felt in Embrace between Dane, Laney & Evan is completly depleted in Entangled. The author just gets what a reader wants. We don't always want the predictable HEA, but we do want HEA's and in this series thats exactly how it is. It may not be how we were hoping for, IT WAS BETTER!!

All I say to you all is I can't bloody wait for Sawyers story this series is up there in my top 3 series now guys!!! LEt be serious you really dont need to ask me 'that' question, Of course this book is getting the full 5*
