Review by Cezanne Dilbert:

Destiny is in her first year of college and part of the school dance team. Dancing is her life and how she
copes with stress. She’s beautiful, smart, and she doesn’t take crap from anyone. Troy is the school
quarterback and her brother David’s childhood best friend. Troy is sexy, sweet and a ladies man. The
two grew up together, and have always been close friends, but after a night of partying they wake up
in bed together. Not wanting to ruin their friendship because of one night, they decide to make it a
one-time thing.

With his ex, Buffy still trying to pursue Troy, the two pretend to date in order to get Buffy to back off.
The two are ok with the arrangement, but when the lines start to blur, they have to decide: are they still
pretending or do they want something more?

“The boundary lines of friendship keep getting blurred. Fake is starting to become a little too real for
me.” ~ Destiny

“I want you tonight. I miss this sexy body of yours underneath me. You’re my drug, Destiny. I need my
fix.”

There is a twist that changes this for the both of them. Destiny has to decide whether to follow her
college dreams, or to take a different path.

I really enjoyed this book. Destiny and Troy were great characters and I love the banter between the
two. Her brother David and her best friend Amy were hilarious. I would love to have friends like this
because they were supportive and were ready to take on anyone that messed with them. There wasn't a
lot of drama or angst, but it was such a sweet and easy read, that I was able to finish it in one sitting.

I give this book 4 Stars!

About The Author:

I have always loved reading and writing. When I was in the fifth grade I became a published writer (okay so it was the school newspaper). I spent the better part of my teen years writing stories for my friends. Sometime between ages of 16 and 35 life happened and I stopped writing but I never stopped reading. It was only after my grandfather passed away in early 2012 that I decided to go for my dreams and write a novel and self-publish it.

I write under the pen name Mari Brown, which is just a play on my real name. I am happily married to my own alpha/ former bad boy male, we have been together for 18 years. We have a 17 year old daughter and two sons ages 15 and 14. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. There is never a dull moment around my house. We live on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama.

In addition to writing I am also co-owner of Keepin’ It Real Book Blog, where I share my love of reading other Indie Authors.
