Synopsis.
Alexandra “Alex” Walton has the life she always wanted for herself. A stable career with plenty of advancement opportunity, Paige, her best friend of a decade as her roommate, and best of all, her amazing boyfriend of three years, attorney Ryan Stewart.
One night Alex and Paige are out having some harmless karaoke fun, when an unreal opportunity presents itself. With her best friend by her side every step of the way, Alex takes on this new experience to see if her dreams could really come true. To be the lead singer of a rock band is not a position you are offered every day. Especially a band that has entered a showcase competition, where the grand prize is the chance to open for a multi-platinum selling group of rockers that is currently on a worldwide tour. That famous band is also fronted by none other than the sinfully sexy, Noah Dreagan, who seems to be drawn to Alex, and emits an energy that could easily pull her in.
Battling nerves and insecurities, Alex digs deep inside to find a confidence she had long forgotten, and embarks on a journey that leaves her questioning whether she still believes that everything happens for a reason.

I bloody loved this book. The main part of me loving this was the fact it was different! Pretty much all books around at the moment are hugely centred on love and sex... This book solely centred on Alex.
Alex and her best mate Paige are out one night at a karaoke when Alex is approached by a talent scout. Alex has an amazing talent and is just what they are looking for to front a band they are putting together for an upcoming competition. This is a competition like no other, the winning bands gets to be an opening act for none other than famous Rockband!

Being thrown together at such short notice Alex gets straight in, gets her head down and gets it done. The band just clicks. They have 4 amazing musicians and Alex. What could possibly go wrong? When the guest judge is announced everything goes into panic mode but being the talented, skilful people they are they pull it together and they do it BIG!!
This book for me was unique. I have never read a book were it is centred mainly on one person! Alex is a determined, strong minded individual! Alex isn't put off by how famous Noel is she gets her head down and gets on with it. The guys are very supporting of every decision Alex makes. The band fits together brilliantly and they all bounce off of one another, they all compliment each-other and couldn't have gotten a better group of not only artists but friends!
I will certainly be following this series and any other book Clara Fox has written. I enjoyed her writing style!! destiny gets 5 stars from me and they are very well deserved! Well worth the time and money!!
