I've read what seems like a million books by Tara Brown, but none of them have come close to the AMAZINGNESS that Born is!!! I don't know how I to express how much I loved this book and ALL the characters, but I'll try!

 

We meet Emma, but she likes to be called Em. She's alone, like she has been for quite sometime, in a world that only Tara can create. Em has had to learn to be strong and survive in this new horrid and crazy world. She has survived with out any human contact for years, but she does have an amazing pet Timber Wolf named Leo. He's her companion and protector at times.

 

Then one night she gets a knock on her door. Seriously one of the most nerve racking moments in the book!!!

 

That moment changes EVERYTHING!!!

 

She has been alone for so long, taking care of her and Leo, and now she has two more people to care for. This is NOT something she thought would EVER happen, and it makes her very uneasy.

 

Anna and Jake are AMAZING!!! You can't help but love them right off the bat!

 

Anna and Jake are brother and sister.

 

Jake is still this genuine, fun loving, easy going person; despite the world around him.

 

The same can't be said for Anna.

 

Anna is like Em. She's been hardened by the new world and is a survivalist. She knows to never let her guard down and to ALWAYS be on the look out. Complete opposite of Jake. If it weren't for Anna, Jake would have been a goner a LONG time ago.

 

Then out hunting for food one day, things happen and they are soon on the run. They're running from hunters who are looking to capture healthy men, women, boys, and girls.

 

But that isn't all that they are running from. There are things just as bad as the hunters, and out to get anything that moves.

 

While on the run they become separated. Emma gets to a "peace camp" where she meets Will.

 

She is scared of Will, Mr. A-hole, but at the same time feels safe with him. These feelings are foreign for her because she's been alone for so long and has never felt this way.

 

Did I mention that she likes Jake too?!

 

As much as she would like to figure out the feelings, there isn't time.

 

The non-stop action begins! Rescue missions are planned and people are recruited to save everyone that has been captured.

 

This book has so much to it, that I can't even explain it all to you!

 

I sat down to read this book in the late afternoon and finished within a matter of hours! I couldn't put it down! I even ignored friends and told them that I would talk to them when I was finished reading! That is how AMAZING this book is!

 

Do NOT pass this book up! If you like action, suspense, ROMANCE, and mystery; then you will LOVE this book!

 

Well done Tara, well done!!I give this book 5 HUGE stars!!!!
