Let me start by saying WOW!!!

 

This book isn't like a breath of fresh air and isn't your typical romance. It's filled with heartache, loneliness, and losing your way.

 

It's also about finding your way, by understanding your past and the mistakes you made along the way.....

 

This is Clara's story. Clara is in her mid thirties, an awesome mom, and lives with her best friend Sawyer.

Clara is crass, a smart ass, and for the lack of a better fitting word, a b****. But she wasn't always this way.

 

Clara has a past that she just can't run from. She has let it define her and has turned her bitter towards most men, especially upper society men.

 

Up until now, she has been stumbling through life and not fully living it. She goes to work, does her best at being the best mom possible, and trying not to screw up the amazing friendship with Sawyer.

 

Sawyer is amazing! He loves Clara and her daughter Allie, with his whole heart. He has been there for Clara, knows her secret and has helped raise Allie like she is his own.

 

Sawyer and Clara have a simple yet complicated relationship. They aren't together, but if it were up to Sawyer, they would be. He has been in love with her for the last four years.
