Synopsis:

When the sun disappeared, the world was cast in shadows, hiding the evil that lay in wait. When it was dark, I hunted. The shadows caressed my body as I did things I could never do in the light of day.

Eighteen-year-old Bree Bowen has spent her entire life training and working as one of her father’s assassins. Fear has kept her and her best friend, Wes, under her father’s thumb—until now.

When Wes takes matters into his own hands, securing Bree a new identity and a plane ticket to America, he gives her the one chance she’s been desperately seeking.

Learning to live a new life isn’t easy. Add in her new roommate, Reid, who just happens to be a stripper, and things start to get a little crazy. Falling for a man has never been part of her plan, but she can’t seem to stay away from Reid.

When Bree’s past comes crashing back into her life, secrets that she’s fought to keep hidden are revealed, and she’s forced to choose between Reid and the life she could have with him, or Wes, the one man who has always loved her unconditionally.

Regardless of her choice, she must learn the consequences of sin.

This book will be a standalone.

Review by Lisa:

Lately I've read books that were just ok, nothing spectacular.  It was to the point I started reading books I bought two years ago, but then K.A. came out with a new book and I was sucked in from the beginning! Definitely not the cookie cutter books I've read lately and everything about this book made me fall in LOVE with it!

Bree is the second in command’s daughter to the British underground. You would think she would be considered royalty in the mob world, but she's not. She's a trained assassin, whom her father loathes and so does everyone else.  She not the typical assassin.... she dies a little inside with every job and before you say she can leave, she can't.

Bree is forced to be the assassin she is, but with her best friend Wesley by her side she is able to make it through every day. He's her protector from the guys at the compound and from her father, until one night everything changes.

Bree has basically been sold and will be leaving the compound to live a life worse than what she's already living. Wes isn't havin’ that and figures away to send her to the states in hopes of starting over.

Bree flees to the states and tries to start over. She chooses a city and winds up on Reid's door step, answering his ad for a roommate, and holy crap is HOT! Like drool worthy- every chick’s fantasy- hot!

Things start turnin’ around for Bree.  Job, apartment, hot guy... seems great, right?! Well just as everything falls into place, it's ripped out from under her.

She has choices to make and she has to make them fast, or there will be some dire consequences. So what happens when the consequences of her sins come back to hurt her?

Well you'll have to read to find out! I promise you won't regret it!!!

I loved this book! Not only did I love the book, but I loved the characters as well.

Bree just wants to be normal. She doesn't want the life she been living for the last 18 years, and I don't blame her! She's strong, not just physically, but in every definition of the word. I couldn't help but wish for the best for her and start hoping she would have the life she's always wanted.

Wes... ah, Wes... He's just a drool worthy.  He's a protector and, to Bree, a genuinely great guy... But cross him- and well- let's just say it's not pretty.

Reid is a breath of fresh air. He's a sweetheart for starters... A nice guy who looks after Bree and is freaking HOT! Seriously drool worthy! Couldn't get enough of him!

So what it boils down to is would I recommend Consequences of Sin? Hell yeah I would! This book is beyond awesome! You have romance, action, mystery, and it sucks you in from start to finish; leaving you begging for more!

Don't pass up this book!

I give it 5 stars!
