SJ's Review.

A real pleasure to read...

What a beautifully written story. I read this is one 4 hour sitting. Such a truly beautiful romance, just what I needed. This story had everything . Starting with the unpredicted marriage, the crazy ex, the still besotted ex and the TWIST..

SO let's talk about Mac... Aww what a true gentleman, still such a sweetheart after all the heartache he has to undure throughtout his life. Now CEO of his fathers company, does he have time for marriage and a family? Well he's about to find out... Mac is awoken in Las Vegas by Natalie who looks very dishelved, he's only about to shock her more when he finds a 'Marriage Certificate'.  Is he secretly pleased with what has happened between them? Or is there an underlying reason as to why he isn't scared or shocked?! Mac is a caring, loving, generous man with a HUGE heart, but is everything always that great? Nothing ever apears as what it seems, or is Mac genuienly a good guy...

'My mom's words eachoed in my head about treating the right women like a

precious jewel.'

Natalie has had nothing but heartache in her past. Losing her parents and being left to raise her younger sister who then was also killed, this must be truly shattering. Left with no-one, yet still so warm, loving and forgiving. Natalie doesn't trust easily so it comes as a massive shock to her when she wakes up in Mac's bed in Las Vegas and what she discovers next, completely shocks her. Distort over the fact she has broke the promise she made her mother on her bed death, Mac is there to comfort her and offer her a way out after a drunken decision, BUT does she secretly want what he's got to offer, love, comfort & safety. Since Natalies parents died she hasn't had anyone to care for her, she has always been the career. Mac comes as such a comfort to Natalie in a time in which she needs it, with the trail of her sisters killer approaching, will this be the beginning of a beautiful relationship or the beginning of a huge mistake?

"I'd say we are falling in love with eachother, Natalie" he said, as his eyes seared mine.

Natalie is used to having her heart broken and Mac is used to breaking hearts, so when Mac's crazy ex can't except that their two relationship is over, exactly what lengths will she go to to get her man back? Natalie has had her fair share of broken hearts, what will happen when Natalie's past comes back to punch her I'm gut? Will she choose to keep what she has found with Mac or go back to the boy that dumped her when her world was pulled out for under her?

Will Natalie and Mac get their happily ever after like they both deserve or will they be kept apart by crazy obsessive exes? Just when you think 'oohh great' something else comes up and smacks you in he face. That's what I love about this story, there always something else popping up making you think 'good god give them a break' some questions are left until the last few chapters to be answered, so it keeps you interested in reading.

"Natalie I want you, I need you, and most importantly, I love you. Never doubt that.Nothing can change how i feel about you."

I'm hoping this isn't the last we hear from Mac & Natalie but if it is the story was left at a lovely point. This is the first book from Carlie that I have had the pleasure of reading, upon completing Beholden to You, I began researching her books and found that she had a series 'The killer next door' this happens to be Kates story (Natalies bestfriend) and I am making this my next series to read because truthfully she is a fantastic writter.

About the Author.

Beholden to You.

Hi Everyone,
It is so amazing to me that my release day is finally here. It has been a long time in the making. I began writing Fallen for You in October, but realized that it was going to be a series, so I didn't release it when it was completed. Instead, I dived into Taken by You and it too is completed. I am working on finishing the final book Given to You. All 3 books will be released this summer. It has been an incredible adventure to become an indie author while working full-time as a teacher, but I am so grateful that I took the risk to follow my dreams. I have many more stories planned after my Killer Next Door series, but at this point they are all stand alone books. I hope to hear from all of you who read my book. Enjoy!

Carlie
